Shannon Plowshares On January 29 Mary Kelly of the Shannon Peace Camp hammered on US Navy C-40 Boeing 737 aircraft from the 59th Fleet Logistics Squadron, Based at Shannon Airport in Ireland. Such planes are used to transport troops, weapons and ammunition to the Middle East. She was arrested and charged with cuasing damage to the plane equal to about 500,000 Euro. She is now awaiting trial. |
